German East Africa under Occupation Stamps
During World War One, 1916 to 1922, German East Africa was occupied by Allied Forces. British Forces occupied the Tanganyika territory and Belgian Forces occupied the Ruanda-Urundi, the north-western part of German East Africa.
Durante a Primeira Guerra Mundial, entre 1916 e 1922, a África Oriental Alemã foi ocupada pelas Forças Aliadas. As Forças Britânicas ocuparam o território do Tanganica enquanto que as Forças Belgas ocuparam o Ruanda-Urundi, situado na parte noroeste da colónia alemã.
Durante a Primeira Guerra Mundial, entre 1916 e 1922, a África Oriental Alemã foi ocupada pelas Forças Aliadas. As Forças Britânicas ocuparam o território do Tanganica enquanto que as Forças Belgas ocuparam o Ruanda-Urundi, situado na parte noroeste da colónia alemã.

On 28 June 1914, with the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria began a period of diplomatic maneuvering between Austria-Hungary, Germany, Russia, France and Britain. WWI began on July 30, 1914, with the German Empire mobilization and implementation of the Germany's Schlieffen Plan.
